BGV Family Spotlight

This month’s owner spotlight is Catherine and David Uhles! Catherine and her family have been owners with us for 10 years! They are owners at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 and Gold Point Resort. Here is a bit about Catherine and her family:

• What is your favorite place you have traveled to? – South Africa and New Zealand.
• How long have you been owners with Breckenridge Grand Vacations? – 10 years. We joined in 2011.
• What property or properties do you own at? – We own 2 properties on Peak 7 and 1 at Gold Point.
• What made you join the BGV Family? – We were introduced to it by friends and current owners and loved it. We could picture all our grandkids there (which they all have been many times). We were (and still will be after COVID is over) traveling internationally a lot for work and we wanted a place nearby (we live in Colorado Springs) to go and chill and relax with little travel. We just loved the beauty and comfort.
• What is your favorite thing about your ownership? – It is so relaxing and there are so many things to do. We have taken craft classes, water aerobics, done hiking, massages, manicures and of course enjoyed chilling in a hot tub with amazing drinks from the bar. The Sevens is a great place to get awesome food and going into town, especially on the gondola, is always a fun treat for us all. We are coming up in July with whole family to celebrate our 50th Anniversary (my husband David and I), We wouldn’t consider anyplace else to celebrate with our family but BGV resorts!
• If you could be any superhero, which one would you be? – I’d be a female Captain America. I’d like to stand for the good of America and the world. My husband David would be Superman.
• Anything else you would like to share about yourself or your ownership? – We try to get up to Peak 7 and Gold Point as much during the year as possible. It’s been great since COVID has let up some that we are able to go much easier and things have opened back up. I love the fact that they keep up the resorts so well and make them as comfortable for family (and dogs) as possible! We love it. Next year we are trading in points with Interval International to go to Italy. We have been trying to take this trip for years and with Interval International and BGV it will finally be possible!
