Ski with a Ranger

Breckenridge has partnered with Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, a local nonprofit, to offer a free Ski with a Ranger program. The Ski with a Ranger program provides free guided interpretive tours to highlight the resources of the National Forest and showcase the resort’s environmental commitments.

Frisco BrewSki

Head over to the Frisco Nordic Center for their annual beer festival on skis- BrewSki! Don your favorite costume and stop at beer-tasting tents along the trail! Prizes are available for the best costumes, and more beer tasting and music is available at the outdoor after-party. Sample beers from Colorado breweries while on skis- what’s more Colorado than that?!

Breckenridge Backstage Theater Presents: LOVE LETTERS

Gurney’s Love Letters is a touching two-person drama told through the lifelong correspondence between Andrew and Melissa, whose relationship unfolds from childhood notes to adulthood reflections on love, marriage, and life. As the letters are read aloud, their story reveals a deeply moving, often funny portrait of two lives shaped as much by what is left unsaid as what is written. Breckenridge Backstage Theatre is proud to present its annual community show featuring a rotating cast of Summit County local actors at every performance. USASA National Championships

Fly Fishing Film Tour

The annual Breckenridge Fly Fishing Film Tour is a benefit event offering a traveling roadshow of the best fly fishing films in the world. This is the 20th Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T), offering short films that are sure to get you fired up for the season ahead. While the event is a collection of great cinematography, the BreckF3T aims to create community by supporting disabled veterans, high school stream ecology education, and local conservation efforts.

Town of Frisco Easter Egg Hunt
April 5
The Easter Bunny will return to Frisco Main Street on Easter Sunday to hide 5,000 Easter eggs for Frisco’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children 8 years old and younger are invited to search for candy-stuffed eggs throughout the Frisco Historic Park and the Frisco Town Hall areas.

Imperial Challenge
The Imperial Challenge is the Breckenridge version of a triathlon! Competitors start the race from the Breckenridge Recreation Center, bike up to Peak 8, transition to uphill gear, and skin to the top of Peak 8 at 12,987 feet. The race’s final leg is a downhill ski to finish back at the base of Peak 7!

Five Dollar Film Series: Breck Rewind

This year, we’re turning it up with a two-day format, which means double the Breck energy. That’s right, two days of free concerts and two days of pond skimming.

Memorial Day Ceremony

This Memorial Day, the Town of Dillon will honor those who served in a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. The Summit Concert Band will perform music, local Boy Scouts will present the colors, and there will be a reading of the interred service members at Dillon Cemetery. The public is encouraged to attend and honor our military members this Memorial Day.
