An Exciting New Chapter at Peak 8

Greetings from Breckenridge! As our town transforms into a Rocky Mountain “snow globe,” we want to share some exciting news. BGV will soon begin sales of the Imperial Hotel & Private Residences, the newest and final slopeside resort to be built in Breckenridge.

Located on the south side of the Peak 8 base area, the Imperial will feature a level of accommodation and experience not yet available in Breckenridge. This innovative, mixed-use resort will feature a 5-star boutique hotel as well as both wholly owned and fractional ownership residences. The Imperial’s amenities will be truly impressive—including Swoosh! aquatics area, Remedy Spa, Still on the Hill restaurant, Toasted Oak lounge, The Vault speakeasy, Lucky family fun center, and more. The Imperial is part of a broader BGV development initiative called Finale. The Finale Master Plan includes a variety of components:

  • Imperial Hotel & Private Residences – The Imperial is more than just a place to stay—it’s a luxurious alpine retreat where adventure and comfort meet at the base of Peak 8. With ski-in/ski-out access, year-round indoor pools, outdoor hot tubs, panoramic mountain views, and a full-service spa, the resort reimagines what relaxation can be. The resort includes: a boutique 5-star hotel, Imperial Chalets wholly owned residences, Imperial fractional residences, Remedy Spa, Still on the Hill restaurant, The Vault speakeasy, Lucky family fun center, Legacy private dining/meeting room, Alchemy demo kitchen, Imperial Provisions shop and candy store, Toasted Oak lounge, Fire and Ice grotto, The Forge fitness center, Swoosh! aquatics area, geodesic outdoor private spaces called Sky Domes, dog-friendly accommodations, and private movie theaters.
  • Imperial Chalets – Wholly owned residences and townhomes at the Imperial Hotel & Private Residences range from one- to five-bedroom residences. Each condo and chalet merge modern alpine architecture with immersive wellness and an enriching way of being together. With signature amenities, immersive experiences, and effortless access to year-round outdoor pursuits, this is more than a home—it’s a legacy that ascends beyond the expected.
  • The Independence Townhomes – Independence Townhomes offers what no other residence can: the fastest in-town access to the BreckConnect Gondola and Main Street’s eclectic array of shops and restaurants. These stunning three- to five-bedroom townhomes deliver the very best of Breckenridge, offering effortless access to year-round adventure, local leisure, and the opportunity to access slopeside amenities.  Each of these 16 wholly owned units is being sold in conjunction with an optional Grand Colorado on Peak 8 (“GC8”) ownership. If elected, the GC8 ownership is conveyed separately with any Independence Townhome purchase, grants owners all Club benefits associated with their GC8 purchase, and requires them to pay Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Owners Association (GC8OA) dues like any other GC8 owner.   • Entrada – Professional Housing, located across the street from 7-Eleven in Breckenridge, is scheduled to begin construction in 2026.  In addition, another professional housing project is being built on the North Gold Rush Lot (across Park Avenue from City Market). Construction on the North Gold Rush Lot began in the summer of 2025 and will be completed by late 2027.  The project will also maintain more than 400 public parking spaces.
  • Victory Ridge – These never-before-released homesites embody the ultimate expression of a life well lived. Ranging from two-thirds of an acre to over an acre and immersed in nature, each homesite boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the Tenmile Range, Breckenridge Ski Resort, Peak 8, the Continental Divide, and beyond.
  • Roadway infrastructure improvements will also be completed as part of Finale to improve traffic circulation through town.
