The development in Escondido was Welk’s first venture into vacation ownership.  The recently opened Mountain Villas is the newest development, nestled on 450 acres in the rolling hills north of Escondido, California.  Modern amenities include full kitchens, spacious bathrooms, and balconies with mountain views. The condo-style villas are divided into three sections. The resort villas with 286 units, The Villas on The Green (146 Units) and Mountain Villas (80 Units).
