Peak 6
Peak 6, the newest addition to Breckenridge Ski Resort, debuted in 2013. Peak 6’s exclusively blue and black terrain makes it a perfect place for advanced-intermediate riders looking to challenge their abilities. There is no base area at peak 6; you must work your way over from peak 7. You can either head down peak 7 to Zendo chair or traverse through the trees via Wanderlust. Don’t let the distance deter you- peak 6 is worth the journey! There is a little bit of everything from wide-open, high-alpine runs to powder-filled trees. Expert skiers and riders can even try their hand (and their nerves!) at the Serenity and Beyond bowls hike-to chutes.

At the top of Independence SuperChair or the brand-new Freedom SuperChair, you will find Pioneer Crossing if you need to take a break and refuel. Intermediate to advanced skiers can take it up a notch by heading above treeline with the T-bar for a thrilling ride down Horseshoe Bowl.
