Breck Create Campus Crawl

This Memorial Day Weekend, Breck Create invites visitors to explore the Breckenridge Arts District during this free community event! The Arts District Campus Crawl will feature live music, hands-on activities, and other interactive events and demonstrations! Join an artist talk with Anna Tsouhlarakis as the Irrational Indigenous Insights exhibit opens in the Old Masonic Hall.

Memorial Day Ceremony

This Memorial Day, the Town of Dillon will honor those who served in a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. The Summit Concert Band will perform music, local Boy Scouts will present the colors, and there will be a reading of the interred service members at Dillon Cemetery. The public is encouraged to attend and honor our military members this Memorial Day.

Countywide Town Clean-Up Day

There’s no doubt that Summit County has stunning natural beauty! When the snow starts to melt, the season’s worth of trash and other missing items start to appear. The towns of Breckenridge, Blue River, Dillon, Frisco, and Silverthorne all participate in this countywide effort to beautiful our county. Locals and visitors are invited to participate in this productive community-building event!

Rob Millisor: Legacy In Action
June 5
BGV has honored late owner/developer Rob Millisor through the Heart Health event for almost a decade. Last year, we changed our approach to celebrating Rob’s memory with a new volunteer-based event, Rob A. Millisor (RAM) Legacy in Action. RAM Legacy in Action engages BGV employees, family members, and sponsors to highlight our commitment to giving back like Rob did. The change is rooted in a desire to keep Rob’s legacy vibrant and meaningful in our community!

Farmer’s Markets Begin

The sure sign that summer is here is when the farmer’s markets open for the season! The Breckenridge Sunday Market and the Dillon Farmer’s Market are great places to shop for artwork, handmade goods, local produce, and so much more. Enjoy live music, yoga, and community while supporting local artisans and businesses. The Dillon Farmer’s Market takes place each Friday throughout the summer, and the Breckenridge Sunday Market takes place each Sunday.

Lake Dillon Beer Festival
June 7
Lake Dillon Beer Festival returns for another unforgettable event! Taste beers from over 30 Colorado breweries with a breathtaking Lake Dillon and the Tenmile Range backdrop. There will be beer (of course), food vendors, and live music available at the Dillon Amphitheater. Take in the views and the music while trying out some local craft brews. As if it wasn’t good enough already, this event supports the Colorado Brewers Guild and the Blue River Watershed Group.

Breck Pride
June 9-15
This Pride Month, Breck Pride will be celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in a week-long festival. With events such as Pride Ride, drag queen performances, pride yoga, and more, the LGBTQ+ community and allies can embrace the outdoors and who you are! All are welcome at these events, with the goal of fostering education, inspiration, acceptance, understanding and respect.

The Epic Discovery Park, located at the Peak 8 base area, will be opening for the season, along with the BreckConnect Gondola, on June 13. Join in the family fun with fun games such as putt-putt, climbing walls, ropes courses, alpine coasters, and more! Keystone Bacon & Bourbon
June 21-22
The Keystone tradition, Bacon and Bourbon Festival, returns for another year at River Run Village! Vendors from all across the state will cook up bacon and bacon-inspired cuisine, with dozens of bourbons available for sampling through the VIP Bourbon Tour. Families can bring their kids to the activities available at Camp Bacon. This weekend-long celebration is an ode to all things bacon!

Breckenridge Backstage Theater: Young Frankenstein
June 25-August 10
This summer, our local non-profit theater company the Breckenridge Backstage Theater presents the musical adaptation of Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein. This comedy musical follows the grandson of Dr. Frankenstein as he eventually embraces his family’s legacy of mad scientists. Breckenridge Agave Festival

Breckenridge Agave Festival compliments the summer lineup for all those taco and tequila lovers out there. Sample high-end tequila and mezcal while enjoying tacos handcrafted by local chefs. Enjoy live music while you indulge in tequilas during the Grand Tasting events. This event will be located in the Main Street Station area, with an agave pairing dinner at Quandary Tequila Bistro!

Independence Day

On Independence Day, downtown Breckenridge will come alive with family-friendly Fourth of July fun. Main Street will close to vehicles from French to Park Avenue for our patriotic Independence Day celebration. Look forward to athletic competitions, live music and events, and the Main Street Parade! As this is a very busy and popular event, it is recommended that your pets stay at home and visitors take public transportation when possible.

Frisco Triathalon
July 11
This July, athletes in Summit County and beyond will participate in the 11th annual Frisco Triathlon! This mountain-town version of a triathlon features segments of stand-up paddle boarding (3k), mountain biking (11.2k), and trail running (5k)! Participants can either race the entire course, or compete as a three-person team. There will be post-race party at the Island Grill with a well-earned meal and beer for all athletes.

Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival

Over 80 artists from across the country will be setting up shop for three days in River Run Village at Keystone.
