It’s true, September in Breckenridge really is one of my favorite times of year. (Click here to listen to – “September”, by Earth, Wind & Fire.)
As summer transitions into fall, we are so grateful to all the owners who have provided feedback to us as we continue to perfect our BGV Shines program, which was designed to ensure the health and safety of our owners, guests and employees. So far, it has worked better than we could have expected. With the town’s Walkable Main Street being unavailable after September, winter will also present some new and unique challenges, as outdoor spaces will be minimized. But, rest assured: the leaders in our community are meeting regularly to come up with new and improved ways to navigate the town, dine and recreate.
Vail Resorts issued a press release last week on how they intend to operate the Breckenridge Ski Resort this year. The most exciting part is that skiing is only six weeks away! I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to read through and familiarize yourself with the new operation process for the 20/21 ski season. While we know a reservations system isn’t ideal, we are excited to get back to a winter activity we all love in a safe manner.
I intend to squeeze in a few more rounds of golf before dusting off the skis, and I hope you will do the same while enjoying the last few dog days of summer. But if you just can’t wait to put on that favorite sweater, check out some of the great articles on autumn activities on the owner blog.
Be well, stay safe and enjoy the moments!
Sincerely,
Mike and Mike
