2025 Quarter 3

Dear BGV Owners,

Happy summer from Breckenridge! We are enjoying sunshine, warmer days, and the beautiful wildflower blooms across the mountains.

We’re continually inspired by the spirit of generosity that defines our BGV community – not only among our employees, but also from you, our incredible owners.

Your Impact in Action

We wanted to share a thank-you note we received from the Summit Foundation, addressed to owners who generously contributed the optional $3 donation alongside their HOA dues payment in support of the Foundation.

“On behalf of the staff and board at the Summit Foundation, thank you so much for extending a generous gift from the Owners Associations to support our mission to enrich the lives of the people and communities we serve. Summit County is filled with philanthropists like you who choose to invest in the wellbeing of our fellow community members. Your support contributes to the thriving community we all enjoy. Since our inception over 40 years ago, we have distributed over $53M to critical needs and our local nonprofits. Over 3,500 donors like you give generously to the Foundation each year. Together, we make a difference—together we are community.”

RAM Legacy in Action 2025: Our Collective Impact

We honored the legacy of late owner/developer, brother, and friend, Rob Millisor during our annual RAM Legacy in Action event last month on June 12th. This special day brought together over 230 volunteers who contributed more than 700 hours of service across 11 nonprofit organizations in Summit and Park Counties.

BGV employees, partners, sponsors, and Millisor family members rolled up their sleeves to support the following projects:

  • Supported Summit Habitat for Humanity in completing exterior work on two homes in Fairplay, getting those units closer to ready for closing,
  • Packed close to 2,000 bags of food for families & children for Smart Bellies and 192 food boxes for Family Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC),
  • Wrote 120 notes of gratitude for employees of 25 local nonprofits.
  • Restored gardens at Breckenridge Community Gardens and CAFE Food Rescue.
  • Ran experiences raising money during Little Red Schoolhouse’s Annual Golf Tournament, benefiting their year-round programs.
  • Pulled thistle, cleaned up pastures, built new tack cubbies, and relocated and set up the obstacle course at Summit Valley Horse Center.
  • Sanded and stained the deck at Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC).
  • And moved ~8 railroad ties and 24 smaller boards up a trail to assist with building a bridge for Friends of Dillon Ranger District (FDRD).
  • The day also raised over $100,000 for the Rob Millisor Heart Health Fund, a fund held at the Summit Foundation that supports local nonprofits in providing critical services like purchasing AEDs, healthy food access, and more.

We’re proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply for one another and for the place we call home, or our “home away from home”. Thank you for continuing to support the people and programs that make Breckenridge such a special place!

Warm wishes for the rest of your summer,

Mike and Mike
