Stay Overnight with Bonus Time

Bonus Time allows eligible owners to book deeply discounted stays at the property where they own without using an Owner Week or Club Points.

Why fall works well: Bonus Time rates are lowest during October and November, and availability is typically greater than during busier seasons.

Bonus Time Tips and Reminders

The Bonus Time calendar in Grand Central updates in real time, not just once each day. If you do not initially find availability, check again. A residence may become available at any time once your desired dates are within the booking window.

Sometimes consecutive nights appear available on the calendar but cannot be booked as one stay. This usually means the available inventory is not in the same residence each night.

Try booking each night separately in the same residence size. Our team will make every effort to place you in the same residence throughout your stay, although this cannot be guaranteed.

Need a dog-friendly residence or have another request? Include it during the booking process so the resort team can review it before your arrival. Requests are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Bonus Time becomes available 14 days before arrival.
  • Weekday Bonus Time stays at Grand Timber Lodge may be booked up to 30 days before arrival.
  • Bonus Time may only be used by owners, their parents and their children age 21 or older.
  • In-laws and grandchildren are not eligible, with the exception of sons-in-law and daughters-in-law at Grand Timber Lodge.
  • Owners may hold one Bonus Time reservation per night.

Visit for the Day with Day Use

Day Use allows eligible owners to enjoy their property’s amenities without an overnight reservation and bring up to seven additional guests. Each owner may reserve one Day Use parking space per resort, per day.

Why fall works well: Day Use parking is typically easier to secure, and the resorts are often less crowded.

Day Use Tips and Reminders

A Day Use reservation is only required if you plan to park at the property. Eligible owners may still enjoy their resort’s amenities without a parking reservation.

Depending on the property you are visiting, the Breckenridge Free Ride Gold Route or the Grand Timber Lodge Shuttle may provide another way to reach the resort.

Owners can add eligible parents and children to their Grand Central accounts as Authorized Users. Once added, you can reserve Day Use parking in their name, even when you will not be joining them.

An Authorized User only needs to show a photo ID at check-in. An owner card is not required.

Call Owner Relations to add an eligible family member to your account.

The quieter fall season gives our teams time to complete important maintenance throughout the properties. Before planning a Day Use visit around a particular amenity, check your resort’s current closures and advisements:

  • Day Use parking may be booked seven days in advance. Reservations open at a different time for each property:
    • Grand Colorado on Peak 8: 7 a.m. MT
    • Grand Lodge on Peak 7: 7:15 a.m. MT
    • Grand Timber Lodge: 7:30 a.m. MT
  • Day Use privileges begin at 8 a.m. and end at 10 p.m.
  • Owners may bring up to seven additional guests.
  • Day Use may be used by owners, their parents and eligible children.
  • Children must be at least 21 at Grand Colorado on Peak 8 and Grand Lodge on Peak 7, or at least 18 at Grand Timber Lodge.
  • In-laws and grandchildren are not eligible, with the exception of sons-in-law and daughters-in-law at Grand Timber Lodge.

Plan Flexible Stays with Club Points

Club Points allow eligible owners of the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 and the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 to divide an Owner Week into shorter stays.

Why fall works well: Fall stays require fewer points and typically offer greater availability, which may allow owners to reserve more nights or a larger residence.

Club Points Tips and Reminders

Club Points availability is never guaranteed, particularly on weekends, during school breaks and throughout other high-demand periods.

If you hope to use Club Points, reserve your Owner Week even if you do not expect to use it. Your Owner Week can be shortened or canceled if Point Stay availability that works for you becomes available.

Being flexible with your dates, residence size and days of the week can improve your chances of finding availability. Club Points may not be the best option when your plans depend on a specific weekend, school break or peak travel period.

Only the check-in date must fall within the six-month booking window. The entire stay does not need to be within six months. If you have specific dates in mind, check availability as soon as the arrival date becomes eligible.

  • Club Points Stays may be reserved up to six months before arrival.
  • The stay must occur within the same calendar year as the Owner Week being converted.
  • A $100 administrative fee applies to Point Stay reservations.
  • Point values vary by season.
  • Unused points do not carry into the following year and will be forfeited.
  • Availability is never guaranteed.

Prepare for Changing Mountain Conditions

Winter driving conditions can arrive in Breckenridge well before ski season begins. Colorado’s Passenger Vehicle Traction Law is in effect along the I-70 Mountain Corridor from September 1 through May 31, so fall visitors should prepare before heading into the mountains.

If you are flying into Denver, you have two options: reserve a properly equipped rental vehicle or leave the driving to a shuttle provider.

Under Colorado’s current requirements, an AWD or 4WD vehicle must also have tires with at least 3/16-inch tread that are rated as winter, all-weather, or mud and snow tires. Vehicles that do not meet these requirements must use chains or an approved alternative traction device on at least two drive tires.

When making your reservation:

  • Select a vehicle that explicitly guarantees AWD or 4WD. Do not rely on a general SUV category described as “or similar.”
  • Ask the rental company to confirm that the vehicle will have tires that meet Colorado’s requirements.

Before leaving the rental lot:

  • Confirm that the vehicle is AWD or 4WD.
  • Look for a mountain-snowflake, all-weather, or M+S designation on the tires.
  • Ask the rental company to verify that the tires have at least 3/16-inch tread.
  • Request another vehicle if the tires appear worn or do not meet the requirements.
