Sit-Down Breakfast

The best stops for a hearty, savory breakfast to fuel your mountain adventures!

The favorite breakfast diner of every Breck local: Columbine Cafe! Located next to Eric’s, Columbine Cafe has been serving up breakfast classics on Main Street for years! They have all of those hearty breakfast menu items you crave- homestyle eggs and potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and french toast, and so much more.

BoLD, located in the Main Street station area, takes the classic American breakfast menu and elevates it into a special brunching experience. Pay a visit to BoLD for your favorites with a twist and wash it down with a DIY mimosa or build your own bloody mary!

Blue Moose Restaurant is located on the south end of town, next to Breckenridge Brewery. They have a HUGE menu with options for every type of breakfast eater. They serve local Colorado farm fresh eggs in their omelets and benedicts, pure Vermont maple syrup on their pancakes and French toast, have lighter options such as granola and fruit bowls, and have Mexican breakfasts with pork green chili!

Cabin Juice is a relatively new restaurant to the Breckenridge scene, located off Main Street, inside Gravity Haus. Their Everyday Brunch menu has all the hits- eggs benedict, french toast, breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and more. Stay healthy with one of their delectable smoothies- our favorite is chocolate almond!

Edwin, one of the newest restaurants in Breckenridge, is serving “First Chair” breakfast as part of their menu offerings! Located in the Hotel AlpenRock, Edwin is just steps from QuickSilver or Beaver Run Superchairs on Peak 9. Their breakfast menu features all the hits- eggs, toast, pancakes- with an elevated twist! Stop by Edwin to try out the newest breakfast option in town.

Grab-and-Go Breakfast

There’s no time to waste when you’re in the mountains- grab a quick bite to-go!

You may be familiar with Clint’s, conveniently located on Main Street, but if you continue past the coffee bar and pastry counter, you’ll find yourself in their downstairs deli. Fuel your day in the mountains with their breakfast sandwiches and bagels. They also have vegan and vegetarian-friendly options!

BreckFast is a counter-service breakfast restaurant on the lower level of La Cima mall. They are the perfect spot to swing by and grab a quick to-go breakfast before hitting the slopes. Their Breckfast sammy’s, Breakfast plates, and Breckfast burritos will keep you energized all morning. Add an a la cart nutella and strawberry waffle or cookies and cream french toast to any meal to satisfy that sweet tooth!

Cool River Coffee House is located right off of Main Street and sits along the Blue River- the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a breakfast burrito! Their menu has plenty of to-go favorites: breakfast burritos, tacos, bowls, smoothie bowls, sandwiches, granola, and more! Their menu is friendly to gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan eaters.

Semplice Cafe prides itself on its “clean, local food.” They make simple and delicious vegan and vegetarian food and have some meat options! Semplice wants healthy options that taste great and keep you feeling full for your outdoor activities in Summit County. Stop by for a breakfast burrito or panini!

Bird & Cow has been around Breck for a few years now, but they have just recently added breakfast to their menu! Pay them a visit on Saturday or Sunday mornings before you hit the slopes to grab one of their breakfast burritos, biscuit sandwiches, or ciabatta breakfast sandwiches. If you have more time, they have several dine-in options as well!

Bakeries

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a handmade breakfast treat!

La Francaise takes you from Breckenridge directly to a French bakery! They have a few savory options, but their specialties are French pastries, croissants, and fresh-baked bread. It is impossible to pick a favorite with options like pain au chocolate, cinnamon brioche, flowers of paradise, and pastry cream beignets. La Francaise is a must-visit for pastry lovers!

Mom’s Baking Company feels like stepping into your mom’s cozy kitchen! They are located off Main Street, next door to Giampietro’s. They have some savory options, such as burritos and bagel sandwiches, but the star of the show is their fresh-baked treats! The owner, Ema, uses her mom’s recipes and is inspired by Czech coffee shops.

  • Hours: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.; Friday-Saturday: 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Clint’s is a staple for any local or visitor. Located on Main Street, their coffee shop and bakery serve up delicious drinks and irresistible baked goods. Their baked goods are made in-house daily! Try their muffins (lemon yogurt!), croissants (strawberry cream cheese!), or any other of their tasty treats- you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Grace offers good-for-you foods that are, as they say, “naturally sourced and crafted with love.” Amazing Grace is known for their scrumptious house-made scones that come in various flavors that change seasonally and daily. Our favorite is blueberry!

Daylight Donuts is a staple of the North end of town. Their donuts are made fresh daily, and folks are often lined up to get their share! In addition to their donuts, Daylight also makes various other treats- twists, long johns, fritters, pinecones, bear claws, fried cinnamon rolls, and more!

Coffee Shops

Calling all coffee lovers! Check out our favorite local coffee shops to get yourself caffeinated.

One of the newer coffee shops in town, Mountain View Coffee Bar, is located on Main Street. They are a small chain that serves house-roasted coffee and espresso alongside its grab-and-go breakfast items. If you partake, start your vacation morning with one of their Irish coffees!

Ullr Cafe, located at the base of Peak 8 just steps from the slopes, is the perfect spot to get caffeinated before getting those turns in! Ullr Cafe serves sustainably-sourced, Colorado-roasted, Vail Mountain Coffee. They have your favorite coffee classics, some unique concoctions, and coffee cocktails.

Danielle’s Delights is located in the cute little food cart in the Breckenridge Distillery parking lot. They have all of your favorite coffee drinks, some grab-and-go breakfast options, and a seasonally rotating menu of caffeinated concoctions! This spring, Danielle will be serving some new treats such as the peanut butter cup late, coconut mocha, and golden tumeric chai! Be sure to check her out on your way into town.

The Crown on Main Street has the perfect, cozy coffee shop vibes you’re looking for. Their interior features big comfy chairs and couches, a fireplace, plants, and comfy pillows. It is the perfect spot to relax with a delicious cup of morning Joe! Our favorite is the Crown Mocha, made with Godiva dark chocolate, white chocolate, caramel and vanilla–yum!

Headed out for a hike? Consider stopping by the Coffee Depot on your way toward Blue River! They have all those staple coffee drinks you would expect, but their menu shines with their specialty lattes. The Razzle Dazzle is made with white chocolate and raspberry, Banana Foster with banana, caramel, and cinnamon, and Snickers with chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut. There are so many to choose from!

Unravel is located inside of Gravity Haus at the South end of Main Street. The atmosphere could be described as cozy, fireside lounging- just the atmosphere you want to enjoy your coffee beverage. Sustainability is of the utmost importance to Unravel. They serve sustainable, single-origin coffee and don’t use any paper or plastic cups!

Baretto 1931 is bringing the rich history of Italian espresso and coffee culture to the Rocky Mountains! As they say on their site, each cup of coffee is “crafted with care and served with Italian flair!” They are conveniently located on Main Street, across from the Crepe stand. Opened in 2024, Baretto is inspiring Breckenridge visitors with their quality espresso and passion for coffee.
