In Breckenridge, we love the outdoors, and we love to indulge in some seriously good eats. From cozy hideaways serving up comfort food to chic spots flaunting innovative cuisine, Breckenridge’s dining landscape has welcomed some fresh faces that are quickly becoming local staples. Check out this culinary tour of the latest and greatest dining spots opened this year!

Highside Brewery

You may have seen Highside Brewery in Frisco, but we now have our own location here in Breckenridge! Located on North Main Street, Highside brings us delicious and unique beers in a cozy, laid-back atmosphere. While they don’t serve food, you are welcome to bring your own in with you. Dogs are welcome as well inside and in their back patio area. With 15 signature beers on tap, there will be a flavor for every beer-lover to enjoy.

  • Location: 301 N. Main Street
  • Hours: Daily, 12-10 p.m.

Thai Chili 89

Thai Chili 89 joined the Breckenridge dining scene earlier this year and has been making a good impression on the locals! They are located across the street from Gold Pan, on the upper level near Higgles. Their menu features all of your favorite Thai flavors, serving up well-known favorites like Pad Thai, Thai Curry, and Drunken Noodles alongside authentic and delicious meals such as Khao Moo Dang and Khao Man Gai. Check them out on your next visit!

  • Location: 100 N. Main Street
  • Hours: Daily, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Coa Cantina

Coa is a new, Mexican-inspired cantina-style restaurant on Airport Road. You’ll find them serving up tacos of every variety, including vegetarian and pescatarian options. Need a little more? Start off with one of their unique starters and pair it with unforgettable tortas such as their chicken mole! Choose from a wide variety of agave-focused cocktails to wash down your delicious meal.

  • Location: 1900 Airport Road
  • Hours: Daily, 11:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.

Molly Jack’s

While Molly Jack’s bar has been open since July, their kitchen opened on October 28. From family-friendly dining to a bar open until 2 a.m. for the nightlife crowd, Molly Jack’s hopes to create an atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone! Their menu offers classic pub fare with a few twists. Alongside their burgers, wings, and chicken sandwiches are unique twists like the miso cod and salmon dip. Their tap list includes a variety of favorite local Colorado breweries!

  • Location: 401 S. Main Street
  • Hours: Daily, 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

Dawg Haus

We had a new face around the Peak 7 base area this summer. The Dawg Haus, located in the food window of Sevens, served up hot dog creations to keep you full for a big day of hiking or biking! The Dawg Haus is only a summer operation and has transitioned back to The Coop, a grab-and-go chicken and fries shop, for the winter. Check out The Dawg Haus next summer for some seriously delicious snacks!

  • Location: 1979 Ski Hill Road
  • Hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. **SUMMER ONLY**

Horseshoe

The Horseshoe returns to its original location! The original Horseshoe was opened in 1978 and had a 30-year streak. The new Horseshoe aims to keep the original vibe but with a slightly different feel. Branding themselves as “Breck-Tex-Mex”, they hope to cater to residents and one of our biggest groups of visitors: Texans. Their menu offers brunch and dinner with dishes and drinks. Gather around the table for some tasty Tex-Mex!

  • Location: 113 S. Main Street
  • Hours: Thursday-Monday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

The Carlin

The Carlin joined the Breckenridge fine dining scene this year with a splash! Their menu is American coastal cuisine, with seafood dishes that will leave you amazed. You’ll feel right beside the ocean with dishes like octopus carpaccio, charred scallion crab cake, and a full raw bar. Their bar and cocktail lounge is airy and chic, providing an upscale dining experience that would be perfect for a date night.

  • Location: 200 N. Main Street
  • Hours: Daily, 4 p.m.-close

The Tavern Underground

The Tavern Underground, the lowest level of The Carlin, provides a “modern-meets-casual” take on the classic American tavern. While the restaurant on the main level is more upscale, The Tavern Underground offers laid-back menu options like mac & cheese, grilled cheese and tomato soup, fish tacos, cheesesteaks, and more. Their specialty cocktail menu will wow you with their unique creations. Modern-meets-casual, indeed!

  • Location: 200 N. Main Street
  • Hours: Daily, 5 p.m.-close

Danielle’s Delights

Our favorite coffee cart is back in business, this time as Danielle’s Delights! Danielle’s cart is the perfect stop on your way to the slopes, offering caffeinated concoctions and seasonal specialties, freshly baked treats, and breakfast burritos from our friends at Coa! She is located in the tan cart Breckenridge Distillery parking lot. Danielle’s Delights is the perfect pit-stop on your way into town- pick up a sweet treat before your gondola ride to the slopes.

  • Location: 1925 Airport Road
  • Hours: Daily, 7 a.m.- 1 p.m.
