Greetings from your family in Breckenridge! 

The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is pleased to share a few updates with our owners: 

• Our first big storm of the season has arrived. Breckenridge is covered in almost 2 feet of snow and looking grander than ever! Breckenridge Ski Resort has started making snow on Peaks 8 and 9 and is planning to open Peak 8 for the season on Friday, November tenth. It’s time to get your skis and boards waxed and ready for some fresh powder! For all lift ticket and equipment rentals, please visit the Breckenridge website.  
• With the ski season upon us, we wanted to provide a refresher on our ski lockers. One ski locker will be provided per room, and they are available upon check-in. Each locker should fit gear for 4 people, but we always recommend keeping your boots in your room so they stay nice and warm. Don’t forget to return your ski locker keys to the front desk by check-out to avoid the late/lost key fee! 
• We are pleased to share that we are making progress with our liquor license acquisition process and hope to be able to open the Lobby Bar before Thanksgiving. We greatly appreciate your patience and support as we work towards this goal!  
• Soothe Spa is currently renovating the tile, cabinets, and countertops in the nail room. This developer-funded project will give our nail room a much-needed refresh and will create a wonderful atmosphere for nail services. We plan to have this project completed during the first week of November.  
• Next time you are on the property, stop by the Market to check out some of our newest items. We now carry embroidered Breckenridge crewnecks and hand-hooked wool Christmas Stockings. We also have added gourmet crispy treats with a variety of flavors, including cookies & cream and espresso. They will definitely be a tasty Après treat. 
• We are looking forward to celebrating the holidays with you in Breckenridge! As always, don’t forget to reach out to our Front Desk to request additional kitchen items you might need for your delicious holiday meals. We also wanted to provide high-altitude cooking tips for you. Due to lower air pressure, cooking takes a bit longer at 10,000+ feet, so it’s always a good idea to plan for additional time when preparing food or even raise the oven temperature by 15-25 degrees Fahrenheit.
