Grand Timber Lodge Property Information

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

I absolutely love Breckenridge in the Spring. As the town slows down and the trees begin to bud, I am reminded of why I fell in love with this town. This time of year really embraces the “if life gives you lemons” mindset. It could dump a foot of snow, and the mountain will be packed, or it could be 65 and sunny with the hiking and biking trails clearing off. As we approach summer, I would highly encourage you to get your activities on the books. Our concierge team is already taking reservations for ziplining and ATV trips, along with many other fun adventures!

Here is what is going on around the property:

  • As an owner you have the ability to pay ahead for your HOA dues to keep the payment more reasonable. Simply reach out to our Accounts Receivable Management team to get this set up.
  • We would like to remind you that you can always request additional place settings and kitchenware during your stay. This could be anything from silverware to an extra coffee maker. We also keep a handful of specialized kitchen items you may be looking for so please don’t hesitate to ask if you need anything at all.
  • We have added compost receptacles to each one-bedroom kitchen. This new process has already diverted hundreds of pounds of organic food scraps from the landfill. If you need your container swapped out during your stay, simply text or call the Front Desk.
  • Due to the valuable feedback provided by our owners we have upgraded the coffee station in the lobby. We now have freshly brewed coffee each morning waiting for you. It is $1.50 per cup or $1 if you bring your own mug!
  • Due to the heavy demand on our current charging stations, we added another dual port electric vehicle charger. The new charging station is located in the building 6 garage, to the left as you pull in. Also, remember that as an owner you get a discount, just ask the concierge for the code.
  • We added a water bottle filling station in the third-floor hallway of building 2 due to multiple requests from owners frequenting the library and board room.
  • Our Engineering Department has laid down new flooring under the strength equipment in the fitness center. The new soft padding will allow you to get your swole on while not worrying about damaging the floor. As always please continue to let us know what areas you are seeing that can be improved!

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on making Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family.  You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for consideration!

Important Owner Reminder

Some of our valued BGV owners have recently reported unsolicited cold calls, letters, and emails from companies offering fractional real estate ownership exit options. Unfortunately, some of these companies are not legitimate, so we encourage you to promptly report any suspicious forms of communication to BGV’s Accounts Receivable Management Team at 888-783-8883 Ext. 3048.

Here are some basic indicators and tips from the Colorado State Attorney General’s Office to help protect you from potential scams:

  1. You receive unsolicited offers with promises such as, but not limited to “We have a buyer for your ownership” or “We guarantee you will make a large profit on the sale.”
  2. The reseller or transfer company only uses a PO box or other mail forwarding service and won’t provide a physical address.
  3. You are asked to make an immediate and/or up-front payment by wire transfer, money order, or prepaid gift or money card.
  4. Refuse to pay for appraisals, inspections, or other services – scammers use these to avoid state prohibitions on collecting up-front fees and these services are rarely needed to complete an ownership resale or transfer.
  5. The offer suggests an upcoming significant increase in association dues, or other expense increases.
  6. Be wary of any solicitation or offer of purchase that requires you to use a resale, transfer, or escrow company of the buyer’s choice.

We recognize that there are times when an owner needs to exit their fractional real estate ownership, and are pleased to offer the following safe and responsible exit resources: https://www.bgvgrandcentral.com/resources/ownership-transfer/. In addition, please feel free to contact BGV’s Accounts Receivable Management Team at 888-783-8883 Ext. 3048 if you need further assistance.
