Browns Canyon National Monument

If you are the adventurous type, check out the Class III rapids in Browns Canyon. This trip is the most popular trip down the Arkansas River and offers everything you’d want in a fun and adventurous rafting experience. Half-day, Three-Quarter Day and Full-Day trips are available. This trip will get your heart pumping with some paddling and put a smile on your face. Great for families with children older than six years of age.

River: Arkansas River

Departure Times:

Half-Day – 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.

Three-Quarter Day – 10:15 a.m.

Full-Day – 10:00 a.m.

Upper Bear Creek Half-Day

This is the perfect trip for families with younger children. The Upper Bear Creek has big views with small splashes. Kick back, relax and enjoy the scenery — but be ready for the excitement of small-scale, moderate rapids. Guests as young as 4 years old can enjoy this incredible river trip.

River: Arkansas River

Departure Times: 10:00 a.m. & 2:30 p.m.

Blue River Half-Day

This is the closest rafting trip to Breckenridge! The perfect moderate whitewater adventure, you will enjoy the thrill of whitewater while taking in beautiful scenery. The Blue River rafting trip is an express tour: you will cover several miles of whitewater in less than 2 hours.

River: Blue River

Departure Times: 10:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.

Number Half-Day

This trip is for the adrenaline seeking! The Number is best described as steep, narrow and technical, with lots of paddling required. The half day rafting trip offers action-packed whitewater from the moment you hit the river. Recommended minimum age for the Numbers is 16 years of age.

Class: IV – V

Departure Times: 9:30 a.m. & 12:45 p.m.
