Hello from Breckenridge,

Many Summit County locals would contend that summer in the mountains is quite simply the best time of the year. With many vendors and outlets still offering excursions, there are plenty of activities to fill your itinerary. Here are a few unique offerings to check out for your next visit!

  • Travel to the far side of Summit County to Arapahoe Basin’s Aerial Adventure Park, where you will find several ropes courses and team building activities. Please note the park is open Thursday through Sunday. Did you know that A-Basin boasts Summit County’s best Bloody Mary?
  • Head down to Breckenridge’s Colorado Mountain College for the summer drive-in movie series! Some popular showings in August include The Princess Bride and Jurassic Park. Visit Breck Create to reserve your tickets.
  • Drive on over to the Dillon Marina for the Friday Farmer’s Market, taking place weekly from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You’ll find a variety of vendors selling everything from crafts to produce. For parking and directions, please follow this link.
  • Don’t forget that Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is now offering kayak and paddle board rentals to pair with your Farmer’s Market visit.

If enjoying some R&R right at Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is more your speed, have no fear! The Soothe Spa continues to offer many relaxing services to truly melt the stress of your day-to-day life away. The Concierge team would be delighted to point you in the direction of our favorite dining outlets, included the many restaurants that will be offering outdoor seating in the pedestrian-only main street through the month of August.
