Spring is in the air!
Springtime in the mountains is lovely this year and we all are looking forward to spending more time with loved ones as our country continues to get vaccinated. Both Mike and I are fully vaccinated and support our staff who also choose to be vaccinated. Doing so helps to provide the peace of mind we all desire as we look towards the future of safely operating our BGV Family of Resorts.
Summit County as a whole is currently tracking ahead of the national data in our efforts to vaccinate, and officials anticipate our local population to be at least 75% vaccinated by the end of May. In addition to our ongoing BGV Shines Program, this projection means when you and your family travel to your home-away-from-home, you are coming to one of the safest places in the country to date!
Even GRANDER news—our never-ending activities in Breckenridge beckon us onto the slopes, up the trails and over the streams. With Breckenridge Ski Resort remaining open until May 31, weather permitting, there is still plenty of spring skiing to enjoy. The warm April weather may also call you to dust off those hiking boots and find some of the drier trails to explore. You know the saying by John Muir, “The mountains are calling, and I must go?” Well, we hear that calling every day, and we know you have a mutual understanding of those exact words, too. We can’t wait to see you this spring and summer. As always, we hope you all remain healthy and happy. Sincerely, Mike and Mike
