Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!  

The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is pleased to share a few updates with our owners:  

• Breckenridge Ski Resort is scheduled to remain open through May 11 (weather permitting), with late-season skiing based out of Peak 7 beginning April 28. The Breck Connect Gondola will run daily through Wednesday, April 30. Then it will close for the season to support the health of the Cucumber Gulch Preserve until Breck Summer Operations open on June 13th. • Summit County has many fun events every summer. The Breckenridge 4th of July Celebration will include a 10K, the Firecracker 50 Race, a Parade, and other fun festivities. Additionally, the Breckenridge Sunday Market is set to begin on June 8 and the Dillon Farmer’s Market will begin again on June 6.  Check out our Summer Events blog for a full list of May, June, and July events. 

• Spring seasonal maintenance projects begin this week. In addition to routine projects in residences, some other improvements will be completed around the property. The Indoor/Outdoor Pool windows will be replaced, and the common areas will be brightened with new paint. Please check the Owner Portal for aquatics closure dates and other important information. 

• Summer is approaching quickly. Concierge is available to assist with booking summer activities like horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and others. Please plan ahead to ensure your preferred date and time are available.  

• As biking season kicks into gear, please note that bike racks will be conveniently located throughout the property for easy access. Due to safety reasons and to prevent wear and tear on residences, please refrain from storing bikes—especially e-bikes—inside residences. Additionally, an e-bike charging locker station is available on the porch in front of the Day Use Room, and we will soon have e-bikes on the property for rent! 

• The Activities department will introduce new activities, including archery and mini-masterpieces (a new to-go activity). Additionally, the resin jewelry-making class will start featuring new items as well including keychains! Updated schedules are posted on the property and featured on their booking site weekly. 

• There are a few new upgrades around the property. These upgrades include but aren’t limited to a new digital clock in the Indoor Pool Area, additional water bottle filling stations, and an interactive Lego Wall at the Activities Center. The owners-only complimentary coffee station in the Day Use Lunchroom was upgraded to an industrial-sized carafe. QR codes have been added to the refrigerators inside all units, highlighting our endless list of amenities and FAQs about the resort. The Activities team also installed a cooperative map showcasing the different states and countries our staff, owners, and guests are from. Next time you are on property, please check out all these exciting improvements! 

• The Grand Lodge is pleased to begin the process of taking over management of the restaurant (formerly Seven’s). The restaurant will be renamed Bar Down with an elevated casual menu and a focus on quality service. To make this transition as smooth as possible, there will be a brief closure period. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to reopen and welcome you back soon!
