Discover the snowy winter wonderland of Breckenridge with Good Times Adventures on a dog-sledding excursion! Traverse six miles of scenic winter trails winding through the Swan River Valley. Led by knowledgeable guides, guests learn the ins and outs of maneuvering a dog sled and partnering with a team of Siberian Huskies. Join in for an educational and exciting experience that blends the beauty of the mountains with the excitement of dog sledding. You’ll be a professional musher by the end of the day!

Tour Details

As your adventurous day of dog-sledding approaches, here’s what to expect on your fun and fur-filled tour:

  • The Good Times Adventures Dog Sledding Tour will lead you approximately six miles through the Swan River Valley
  • The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours, stopping halfway for everyone to rotate places.
  • Guests should arrive 30 minutes prior to the tour start time for the check-in and gear-up. Guides will explain how to run sled and work with your team of Siberian huskies.
  • The tour is run as a relay, meaning guests will switch off between running the dogs and riding in the dogsled, and riding on a small passenger snowmobile with the guide. The tour can handle up to 6 people in a group.

Safety and Restrictions

For the safety of both the guests as well as the dogs, Good Times Adventures has the following restrictions in place:

  • Weight limit of 275 pounds per person.
  • Children must be 5+ to participate.
  • Pregnant women are not allowed. 
  • Children must be 15+ to participate without a parent or guardian.
  • A signed liability agreement is required before the tour. 

What To Bring

Weather conditions can vary greatly at our elevation. Prepare to be outside for two hours in variable conditions, similar to how you would plan for a ski day! Complimentary adult snow suits and boots are available; no children’s sizes are available.

  • Layers, layers, layers!
  • Ski wear: waterproof jacket, ski bibs, warm socks, base layers, etc.
  • Winter boots
  • Googles or sunglasses
  • Gloves, neck warmers, face masks, hand warmers
  • Sunscreen, water, camera

Pricing and Booking

  • Cost: $194 per person; $6 permit fee required per person
  • Reservations are required
  • Must be paid in full at the time of booking
  • Reservations are non-refundable within 24 hours of your tour; 72-hour notice required for cancellation of groups of 15+
