Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge! Winter is in full swing here at The Grand Colorado on Peak 8, and the energy around the resort remains as vibrant as ever. Though the snowfall has been lighter this season than we are used to, the skiing and riding remains excellent with beautifully groomed runs, wide-open trails, and plenty of Colorado sunshine. Owners are still enjoying the crisp mountain air, scenic chairlift rides, and lively après-ski gatherings that make this season so special.

While longer days and gradually warming temperatures hint at the arrival of spring, the winter season is far from over! There’s still plenty of time to enjoy the heart of ski season before spring skiing conditions arrive.

The season continues to thrill with exciting on-mountain events right outside our doors. Breckenridge Ski Resort will be hosting its Spring Concert Series along with the always-entertaining Pond Skim at the base of Peak 8 on April 25 and 26. This is always a guest favorite that combines costumes, music, and plenty of splashes! Throughout the remainder of the season, the Maggie Music Series offers live music every Saturday from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at The Maggie. A perfect way to end a day on the slopes.

Resort Updates

We’re excited to share several enhancements designed to elevate your ownership experience:

  • New Sports Simulator:
    Our newest amenity has arrived! Owners and guests can now enjoy our state-of-the-art sports simulator; a fun, interactive experience perfect for friendly competition, family time, or testing your skills in a variety of virtual sports after a day on the mountain.
  • Expanded Lobby Bar:
    Our lobby bar has been expanded to better accommodate our growing number of bar guests. The refreshed space features a larger bar with more seating, double the amount of beers on tap, an additional TV, extended hours of operation, and two bartenders during peak times to ensure faster service and a lively atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to gather after a day outdoors.
  • Improved Pool Locker Access:
    We are finalizing the installation of new locker room locks in our pool areas that sync directly with owners’ room keys and Day Use wristbands. This upgrade eliminates the inconvenience many experienced with the previous system and provides seamless access moving forward.
  • Building One Aquatics Update:
    The pool play feature in building one has been replaced with a new, modernized structure to create an even more enjoyable experience for families.
Grotto Quiet Policy Update:

To better preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the Grotto, we are formally designating it as a no-talking relaxation area.

While it has long been considered a quiet space, varying expectations have led to occasional frustration. This update ensures a truly tranquil environment for those looking to unwind.

Guests who wish to socialize are encouraged to enjoy our main indoor and outdoor aquatics areas, which offer a more lively and social setting.

Elev8 Rooftop Update:

While the indoor lounge space at Elev8 is no longer available, owners and guests can still enjoy the stunning rooftop patio. The grills and firepits remain available, make it one of the best places in Breckenridge to relax, gather, and take in the panoramic mountain views.
