Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Property Information

Quarter 1 2025

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge!

Spring ski season is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited! Think bluebird skies, soft turns, and those legendary sunny après-ski sessions. With a little luck (and a lot of praise to Ullr!), we’ll keep the powder days rolling. As the season shifts, our team will be gearing up for annual spring cleaning and fresh property enhancements—so stay tuned for some exciting updates!

Here are a few updates and reminders from the resort!

  • Breckenridge Ski Resort is 100% open, including all high-alpine terrain! Check out Lift and Terrain Status for accurate updates on which lifts are up and running.
  • Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Board and Annual meetings are right around the corner! Mark your calendar for April 12, 2025 if you wish to attend virtually. If you haven’t already, you can opt to go paperless for your HOA meeting notifications by setting your Communication Preferences on Grand Central.
  • Did you know? You can find all the GC8 Club Rules and your HOA Rules & Regulations on Grand Central! Just head to the homepage → Ownership → Home Owners Association → Click “Read More” under the GC8 Logo.
  • Our Activities team has developed two new exciting gift basket options!
    • Bourbon Basket: We have collaborated with Breckenridge Distillery to create a Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Signature Bourbon blend! This gift basket includes a bottle along with a bar of orange chocolate
    • Romance Package: Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this package includes a bouquet of roses, premium champagne and flutes, premium chocolates, rose petals, LED candles, and optional add-ons for a couples photo shoot or discounted couple’s massage!
  • Ullr Cafe is now offering a First Chair, First Cheers Happy Hour from 9-11 a.m. as well as an Apres Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m. daily. Enjoy 25% off beer, wine, and cocktails during this time.
  • As 2024 came to an end we are excited to announce that Kyla Martinez (Guest Services) and Zach Holland (Engineering) are our 2024 Employees of the year! Give them a congratulations if you see them at the resort on your next visit!

What’s Happening in Summit County?

  • Mardi Gras 4Paws Parade – March 1, 2025, in Frisco: A costumed canine parade and street party benefiting a local pet-friendly non-profit. Whether you have a dog or just love them, this event is full of fun and festive energy.
  • Keystone Mardi Gras & Gumbo Cookoff – March 4, 2025, in Keystone: Beads, costumes, live music from Bourbon Street Hurricane, and of course, delicious gumbo. Enough said!
  • Adventurous Activities: Snowmobiling, dog sledding, horseback riding, sleigh rides, and even winter ziplining—our Concierge team can hook you up with an unforgettable experience.
  • Check out our Winter Events blog for more!

We can’t wait to welcome you back for another amazing stay in Breckenridge.

Important Owner Reminder

Some of our valued BGV owners have recently reported unsolicited cold calls, letters, and emails from companies offering fractional real estate ownership exit options. Unfortunately, some of these companies are not legitimate, so we encourage you to promptly report any suspicious forms of communication to BGV’s Accounts Receivable Management Team at 888-783-8883 Ext. 3048.

Here are some basic indicators and tips from the Colorado State Attorney General’s Office to help protect you from potential scams:

  1. You receive unsolicited offers with promises such as, but not limited to “We have a buyer for your ownership” or “We guarantee you will make a large profit on the sale.”
  2. The reseller or transfer company only uses a PO box or other mail forwarding service and won’t provide a physical address.
  3. You are asked to make an immediate and/or up-front payment by wire transfer, money order, or prepaid gift or money card.
  4. Refuse to pay for appraisals, inspections, or other services – scammers use these to avoid state prohibitions on collecting up-front fees and these services are rarely needed to complete an ownership resale or transfer.
  5. The offer suggests an upcoming significant increase in association dues, or other expense increases.
  6. Be wary of any solicitation or offer of purchase that requires you to use a resale, transfer, or escrow company of the buyer’s choice.

We recognize that there are times when an owner needs to exit their fractional real estate ownership, and are pleased to offer the following safe and responsible exit resources: https://www.bgvgrandcentral.com/resources/ownership-transfer/. In addition, please feel free to contact BGV’s Accounts Receivable Management Team at 888-783-8883 Ext. 3048 if you need further assistance.
