Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Property Information
Quarter 3 2025
Letter from the Assistant General Manager
Summer is in full swing here, and there’s no better time to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer. July brings long, sunny days—great for getting outside, whether you’re hiking, biking, or just exploring town. In August, the energy keeps going with local festivals, live music, and great food. By September, the leaves start to change, and the whole area glows with golden colors. It’s a beautiful time to slow down and soak it all in.
We’d love for you to come experience it for yourself. Whether you’re sipping coffee with a view, taking time to relax at the spa, or heading out for a walk through the trees, we’re here to help you make the most of your stay. This season has a little bit of everything—warm weather, fun events, and that peaceful early fall feeling.
What’s New Around the Resort
- We’re excited to share that we now have electric bikes available for rent. They’re a fun and easy way to explore Summit County. Stop by the Front Desk or Concierge for more info and route ideas.
- Infinity Spa is the perfect place to recharge after a busy summer. Our team of massage therapists and estheticians offers relaxing, personalized treatments. Whether you’re looking to ease sore muscles, take care of your skin, or just enjoy a little quiet time, they’ve got you covered.
- Ullr Café has a few updates too. Hand-dipped ice cream is now on the menu, and we have upgraded our espresso machine for a better espresso experience. Make sure to swing by for a cool summer treat!
Lobby Bar and Elev8 Lounge Updates
We are pleased to announce plans to expand the Building 1 lobby bar- at no cost to the GC8OA- to improve service during peak times with more seating, extended hours, and QR code-enabled beverage delivery to many of the amenities at the Grand Colorado. This exciting change is in response to low utilization of the interior of Elev8 Lounge since it opened.
As part of this expansion of the lobby bar and the forthcoming cessation of beverage sales within Elev8 Lounge, the interior space at Elev8 Lounge will also undergo construction to be converted into a sales gallery, resulting in additional revenue for the GC8OA. The exterior patio at Elev8 will remain available for owners and guests to enjoy. We look forward to enhancing the vacation experience for our owners and guests!
Upcoming Events in Town
- Breck International Festival of Arts (Aug 15–24): Art, nature, and live performances throughout town.
- Wine Classic (Aug 21–23): Tastings, classes, and a great excuse to enjoy wine in the mountains.
- Hogfest: Bacon & Bourbon (Aug 22–24): Exactly what it sounds like—bacon, bourbon, and live music.

- Breckenridge Film Festival (Sept 18–21): Independent films and conversations with filmmakers.

Important Owner Reminder
Some of our valued BGV owners have recently reported unsolicited cold calls, letters, and emails from companies offering fractional real estate ownership exit options. Unfortunately, some of these companies are not legitimate, so we encourage you to promptly report any suspicious forms of communication to BGV’s Accounts Receivable Management Team at 888-783-8883 Ext. 3048.
Here are some basic indicators and tips from the Colorado State Attorney General’s Office to help protect you from potential scams:
- You receive unsolicited offers with promises such as, but not limited to, “We have a buyer for your ownership” or “We guarantee you will make a large profit on the sale.”
- The reseller or transfer company only uses a PO box or other mail forwarding service and won’t provide a physical address.
- You are asked to make an immediate and/or up-front payment by wire transfer, money order, or prepaid gift or money card.
- Refuse to pay for appraisals, inspections, or other services – scammers use these to avoid state prohibitions on collecting up-front fees, and these services are rarely needed to complete an ownership resale or transfer.
- The offer suggests an upcoming significant increase in association dues or other expense increases.
- Be wary of any solicitation or offer of purchase that requires you to use a resale, transfer, or escrow company of the buyer’s choice.
We understand that there may come a time when an owner needs to transition out of their fractional real estate ownership. While BGV does not currently offer an internal resale or buyback program, we are committed to helping owners navigate this process safely and responsibly. We’re pleased to offer a range of safe and trustworthy exit resources, available here.
Additionally, BGV is proud to work with the American Resort Development Association (ARDA)— the trade association and governing body for the vacation ownership industry. ARDA’s members, which include developers, resellers, title companies, and service providers, adhere to a strict Code of Ethics designed to promote transparency and protect consumers.

As always, if you have any questions or would like assistance evaluating your options, please contact BGV’s Accounts Receivable Management Team at 888-783-8883 Ext. 3048.
