Two Below Zero Sleigh Rides

Private Sleigh Rides depart at times arranged by guests.

This is the romantic experience you’ve always dreamed of. A beautiful horse, a red vis-a-vis sleigh with seating for up to four, and one friendly cowboy to guide your way. They will take you on a 20-minute ride to a remote site. The driver will then tie off the horse and allow you to disembark, take pictures, have some complimentary hot cocoa (insider tip: Peppermint Schnapps is available!) and enjoy the mountain vistas! Then it is another delightful 20-minute sleigh ride back to the Nordic Center.

Climb aboard a handcrafted oak sleigh, designed after styles found in the 1850s, then cozy up and nestle under an antique lap robe. A handsome team of mules will take you down a secluded, picturesque trail where you will find a warm and cozy camp tucked deep in the forest. There you’ll receive the best dinner served this side of the Continental Divide, vegetarian and gluten-free dining options are available.

Camp life also includes musical entertainment by David Peel, a former member of the original Kinston Trio. Rides depart from the Frisco Nordic Center and transportation can be arranged at an extra cost. The Dinner Sleigh Rides do fill up quickly during the holidays, so reserve your spots early.

Prices do not include sales tax or gratuity. Children under 3 do not receive their own meal and must sit on a lap if sleighs are at capacity.
