Starting in 2024, our newsletter will transition to a quarterly schedule. You’ll receive updates every three months, informing you about everything happening at our properties and around town in Breckenridge. We believe this change will make our updates more relevant and engaging for all our owners.

Can you believe that 2023 is quickly coming to a close? What a year this has been! At BGV, we’re incredibly grateful to have so many reasons to celebrate as the year comes to an end. 

In the spirit of the season, we are excited to announce that the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 has been recognized by Good Housekeeping (GH) as one of the top “Action Packed Mountain Resorts” of 2024. GH is known as a source of expert advice for families, and this recognition reinforces our commitment to providing you with exceptional vacation experiences.  

It is with great honor and humility that we share that BGV has received the Outstanding Business Philanthropy Award from The Summit Foundation. This award celebrates and recognizes our commitment to giving back, especially our dedicated employees who devote their time, talent, and resources to our local community. As we look to the New Year, we hope to be able to give back even more and will continue our mission to better the lives of our neighbors.  

In addition, BGV has been honored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for our snowmelt efficiency projects at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7. We are proud recipients of the Region 8 Pollution Prevention Award, a distinction that recognizes our efforts in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As the only hospitality group to achieve this federal and nationally recognized award in 2023, we are motivated to continue leading in sustainable practices. 

We also want to celebrate YOU – our extended BGV family – because without you, we wouldn’t be here! Our owner family has continued to grow, and we’ve maintained 90.8% occupancy throughout the year. We are so thankful that you chose to spend your time with us and that you’ve made Breckenridge your home away from home.  

We hope that as you reflect on the past year, you also find many reasons to celebrate. May this season be marked by meaningful moments and the opportunity to spend time with those you hold most dear.
