BGV Gives Impact Report
Earlier this year, we expanded our BGV Gives department to unify all initiatives that promote ‘people, planet, and prosperity.’ This evolution strengthens our commitment to sustainability, philanthropy, and community engagement. BGV Gives was originally created in 2016 to honor the late BGV owner/developer Rob Millisor and his legacy of serving others.
This rebranding is more than just a name change; it represents our continued investment in doing better for our planet, employees, owners, guests, and community.
Our BGV Gives Team has recently compiled the many ways BGV made a difference last year. 2024 was a year of transformational impact, innovation, and inclusion—from record-setting volunteer hours to national recognition for some of our sustainability efforts. We invite you to explore the stories that made this past year so memorable in our 2024 BGV Gives Community Impact Report, available in English and Spanish.
RAM Legacy in Action
To honor the legacy of late owner/developer, Rob Millisor, we transformed our annual Robert A. Millisor (RAM) Heart Health Walk into RAM Legacy in Action; evolving from traditional fundraising to the kind of deep community engagement that Rob championed. This new day of volunteerism raised over $100,000 and brought together more than 250 BGV employees and sales team members, who contributed over 750 volunteer hours to local nonprofit organizations in one day!
We are looking forward to this year’s RAM Legacy in Action event which will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Please consider helping us reach our fundraising goal of $100,000 by donating to the Rob A. Millisor Heart Health Fund at The Summit Foundation.
- If you’d like to participate directly in this year’s volunteer projects, please consider providing an individual or business sponsorship.
Thank you for being such an important part of the BGV Family. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the mountains soon!
Warmly,
Mike and Mike
