Wrapping up an incredible day on the slopes is best done by toasting with a drink. With numerous fantastic spots to discover, navigating Breckenridge’s restaurants can be challenging. But fear not, as we’ve compiled a list of the finest après-ski destinations in town and on the mountain. Cheers!

Broken Compass Brewing is definitely a local favorite! This local brewery has two locations- their original brewery on Centennial Court and the taproom at the south end of Main Street. Both locations serve a variety of their hand-crafted brews; our favorite of their signature staples is the Coconut Porter. Their Taproom location is perfect for folks hanging out downtown; it’s the perfect place to take a seat and have a drink while taking in the views!

The next stop on our Apres tour is Kenosha- located at the corner of Adams and Main Street. Their comprehensive tap list, signature cocktails, tasty appetizers, enormous patio, and daily happy hour specials make Kenosha a great spot for your post-skiing wind-down. Their happy hour specials include discounted drinks and appetizers- our favorite is the Cheesy Elote Dip, yum!

Have a wine-lover in your group? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered! Carboy Winery, located next to Gold Pan Saloon at Lincoln and Main, offers daily wine tastings in its historic tasting room. Their wines are crafted with grapes from both Washington and Grand Valley, Colorado vineyards. Carboy invites locals and visitors to “loosen their boots and share tall tales of their day in the mountains while sipping on tall(er) glasses of [their] award-winning wines.” Pair your apres experience with some apres snacks and charcuterie boards!

Highside Brewing has long been part of the Summit County brewery scene, but their recently opened taproom in Breckenridge has been a welcome addition! Their location at Main and Watson is a very short walk from the gondola. Highside aims to provide a beer that everyone in the group will love, crafting a diverse menu with everything from seasonal specials to sours to hard-hitting IPAs. They now offer Colorado BBQ until 8 p.m. daily, check out the menu here! The cozy atmosphere is the perfect place to recap your adventures and enjoy a beverage with friends!

Come après at the highest distillery in the world! The Breckenridge Distillery offers an in-town tasting room located on Main Street, as well as a full-service restaurant and bar off Airport Road. Enjoy the indoor dining area or sit outside on the patio and enjoy the mountain air and yard games! Schedule a complementary in-town shuttle ride to their Airport Road location, visit their website for details!

Locally owned and located on the base of Peak 8, Robbie’s Tavern easily wins the distinction of being the best slopeside après ski location. Robbie’s puts a twist on American comfort food paired with an outstanding variety of beverages. Looking for something warm after coming off the slopes, but want to add a little booze? Robbie’s Tavern has all the options covered.

Blue River Bistro is a great spot to apres if you’re looking for tasty appetizers and classy craft cocktails! Located near Watson and Main, next to Highside Brewing, Blue River Bistro is just around the corner from the gondola. Their interior is modern yet comfortable- you’ll find yourself at home. Their happy hour runs daily from 2-5 p.m. and offers hard-to-beat deals, including 2-for-1 martinis and appetizers, and $2 off draft beers. They have a wide variety of unique martinis to choose from and several delicious mocktails as well!

The world’s highest winery is located right here in Breckenridge! Located in the Main Street Station area, Continental Divide Winery offers a selection of wines in its tasting and barrel room. They offer 4 tasting Flights that are regularly rotated and curated by their in-house sommeliers. Tastings are modestly priced between $20 and $50 and are complementary with the purchase of two bottles! Not interested in a tasting? Continental Divide also offers wine by the glass or bottle. Stop by for a visit!

Rita’s Agave Y Tacos, self-described as “a haven for taco enthusiasts and margarita aficionados.” Located at the corner of Adams and Main, Rita’s is a quick walk if you are parked in Tiger Dredge or F-Lots. Their hand-squeezed lime juice, homemade margarita mix, and wide selection of tequilas make their margaritas the best in town! Need to fuel up after a day on the slopes? Rita’s happy hour offers buy two tacos, get one free! Swing by Rita’s for some laid-back beachy vibes in the mountains.

Breckenridge Brewery and its tasty brews can be found all around the country! The Breckenridge Brewery & Pub serves up not only the classic Breckenridge Brewery favorites, but some seriously delicious snacks as well! The Breckenridge Pub is the perfect après spot if you want to kick back and take in the mountain views. They are located on South Main Street and offer breathtaking mountain views from the dining room and the outdoor patio. Want to take a brewery tour? The brewery is right behind the bar, so belly up to the bar and get a first-hand look at the action. Chat with the bar and brewery staff; you will learn a lot while enjoying a nice beverage.

Bar Down is the perfect blend of casual mountain fun and fine dining elegance. Their menu is edgy, interesting, and absolutely delicious. Nestled at the corner of the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 right at the base of Peaks 6 and 7,  it is a perfect après venue!  Pair one of their ski culture inspired cocktails with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains for the perfect end to your slope session.

The new kid in town, El Perro Negro describes their venue as, “loud, laid-back, and a little bit wild, in the best way”. This cocktail bar is refreshingly unique, beautifully and unapologetically bringing bold Mexican vibes and flavors to Breck!  When looking for elevated tequila cocktails and shots in a relaxed and hip atmosphere, look no further.
