Letter from the Assistant General Manager

The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is pleased to share a few exciting updates and reminders as we transition into the winter season. We’ve been busy making improvements around the property to enhance your comfort and experience:

Ski Locker Room: New sliding doors have been installed—just in time for ski season!
Fresh Look: The outdoor parking lot has been restriped, and hallways and common areas have received a fresh coat of paint, brightening up the entire property.
Sauna Enhancements: The sauna now features new wooden beams, a new entry door, and subtle lighting under the seats for a warm, relaxing glow.
Residence Upgrades: Sofa sleepers in the South Building and lamps in the North Building bedrooms are being replaced.

If you’re interested in purchasing gently used furniture, lamps ($10) and couches ($50) are available for pickup on a first-come, first-served basis until November 15. Please note that items must be loaded and hauled away by the buyer, and will not be held for pickup. Payments can be made (cash or check payable to GL7 Owners Association) at the Front Desk, where staff can also assist with directions.

Bar Down Restaurant

Bar Down wrapped up its first successful summer and fall season, and excitement is building for winter! Between runs on Peak 7, stop in for handcrafted cocktails, delicious dishes, and a lively après-ski atmosphere.

This holiday season will be extra special, with reservation-only dining available on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. A beautifully prepared to-go holiday meal option will also be offered.

Activities Department Updates

The Activities team is transitioning into winter fun and has a few highlights to share:

Escape Room: The Baker Street Mystery Escape Room is available for booking—but don’t wait too long! A brand-new theme will debut later this winter.
New Gift Basket: Our new charcuterie board gift basket is perfect for a cozy night in or a special celebration. It includes a variety of cheeses, meats, and snacks. (Please provide 48 hours’ notice when ordering.)

Mobile Keys

Don’t forget—Mobile Keys are available for overnight stays! Let the Front Desk know at check-in if you’d like to use one, and they’ll assist with setup. To speed up the process, download the JustIN Mobile App in advance from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Holiday Highlights

The holidays are always a special time at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7! Don’t forget the Activities department has Christmas Trees available upon request throughout the whole month of December. A 48-hour notice is requested when booking. All trees are pre-lit. Non-decorated trees are $100 while pre-decorated trees are $200. This year, we are also offering menorahs for your room for $10. Please contact the Activities team with any questions or to reserve your tree or menorah!

The Housekeeping team offers holiday cooking items upon request, including meat thermometers, pie tins, roasting pans, and turkey basters. Remember—cooking at 10,000+ feet takes longer, so allow extra time or increase your oven temperature by 15–25°F.

Package Storage
If you’re shipping items ahead of your stay, the Front Desk can store packages:

Packages under 24 inches: $8/day
Packages over 24 inches: $14/day
Please note: Only UPS and FedEx deliver directly to the property.

Ski Season Reminders

Breckenridge Ski Resort is scheduled to open Friday, November 7! Check here for the latest lift and terrain updates.

Please remember that one ski locker will be provided per room upon check-in. Each locker should fit gear for four people, but we always recommend keeping your boots in your room so they stay nice and warm. Don’t forget to return your ski locker keys to the Front Desk by check-out to avoid the late/lost key fee!

To help save on energy costs this winter, we’ve also added overnight hot tub covers to retain heat—an initiative we’re excited to track for natural gas savings!

Day Use Parking & Authorized User Feature

As we gear up for a busy winter, here are a few important reminders about Day Use parking and an exciting new feature we think you’ll love!

Day Use Parking Reminders

Reservations can be made online up to 7 days in advance.
Cancellations must be made by 7 p.m. the night before to avoid a 14-day parking restriction.
Please bring a valid photo ID or your owner’s card for check-in.
One parking pass is issued per ownership per day. Dogs may not be left unattended in vehicles and are only allowed in designated dog-friendly areas.

New: Authorized User Feature

We’re thrilled to introduce Authorized Users—a new feature in Grand Central designed to make Day Use check-ins even easier for your family!

Owners listed on the deed can now add their parents or adult children to their account as Authorized Users. When booking Day Use parking, you can assign the reservation to your Authorized User, who simply shows a valid photo ID at check-in.
