Dear BGV Owners,
Summer is always a special time in the mountains, and this year, we’ve been especially proud to see our employees and community partners come together to give back to the places where we live and work.
In June, we hosted our annual RAM Legacy in Action Day, honoring the legacy of late owner and developer Rob Millisor. More than 200 BGV team members spent a day volunteering at 17 nonprofit organizations, contributing more than 750 hours of service. From packing lunches for local school kids and building mountain bike trails to improving forest health and helping Summit Habitat for Humanity prepare homes for local families, it was a great example of the way our BGV team shows up for our community.
That spirit continued throughout the summer. We launched “VTO with the CHO,” a new initiative led by Chief Hospitality Officer Kimberly Tramontana, bringing employees together to use their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) at different nonprofit organizations throughout the year. We were also proud to celebrate the opening of The Sol Center, one of our largest 2025 grant recipients, alongside the teams at Building Hope and FIRC. Seeing a project like this come to life and knowing the difference it will make for people in our community, is one of the most rewarding parts of our philanthropic work.
Now, as summer winds down, another important part of our giving season is underway. Local organizations are currently submitting applications through our Grants Program, which support initiatives in health and human services, education, arts and culture, environmental stewardship, and sports and recreation. Through these grants, we’re able to support the nonprofits that make a meaningful difference throughout Summit and Park Counties.
As BGV owners, you are an important part of making this work possible. Your ownership helps us invest in the people, organizations, and places that are part of the BGV experience and make our mountain community the special place we all call home.
And, of course, there’s plenty to look forward to as we head into winter! Breckenridge Ski Resort has announced an opening day of November 6, 2026, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you back to the mountains.
