Enjoy an Festive Beverage

One of the first things that comes to mind when you think of St. Patrick’s Day is adult beverages! If you can partake, you will find lots of Irish drinks around Breckenridge. Here are a few of our favorites:

Tune into Irish Tunes

Lúnasa, named after an ancient Celtic harvest festival honoring the Irish god Lugh, will be performing at the Riverwalk Center just ahead of St. Patrick’s Day! This group will be performing traditional and contemporary Irish music. As described by BreckCreate, “…the band’s complex arrangements and unique sound reshaped the boundaries of traditional music and energized audiences the world over. Twenty years on, the group continues to evolve, playing new music that is as state-of-the-art and aggressively infectious today as it was so long ago.” Celebrate the holiday by dancing to live Irish music!

  • Date & Time:  March 14, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Location: Riverwalk Center
  • Cost: $25-$35

Indulge in Irish Fare

Irish food warms the soul and puts some meat on your bones! If you’re looking for some of those classic, traditional Irish staple dishes, we’ve got you covered! Here are our favorites in Breckenridge and beyond:

  • Burke and Riley’s: Located in La Cima Mall, Burke and Riley’s is the quintessential Irish pub. Their menu offers all of the hits, such as corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, shepherd’s pie, and fish and chips. They also put a fun twist on a couple of classics with their corned beef egg rolls and Irish nachos!
  • Napper Tandy’s: Our local Irish-owned pub, Napper Tandy’s, located at Lincoln and Main, has a filling Shepherd’s Pie on their menu! The delightful combination of ground beef, peas, carrots, onions, mashed potatoes, and Guinness beef gravy is sure to leave you satisfied this St. Patrick’s Day.
  • The Cala Pub & Restaurant: The Cala is not in Breckenridge, it is located on the Dillon side of Swan Mountain, but it is too good to leave off of the list! This classic Celtic bar has some seriously delicious food featuring Irish ingredients. They have all of the favorites including Irish favorites of bangers and mash, Shepherd’s pie, steak and Guinness pie, and so much more.
