Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Property Info

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge! Summer in Summit County has been amazing so far and we are looking forward to that continuing through August. It is just so great to see so many wonderful families on the property enjoying some time away from home together before school starts again this fall. Many have taken advantage of our many resort-wide amenities, from the pool to the amazing Gr8 Escape and off property at the Epic Discovery Park just outside our doors.

One of the main questions we hear this summer from our owners and guests is ‘where can I see live music?’. I also hear many of my fabulous coworkers talking about the many fun outdoor music events they are attending, along with music at many restaurants in our county. Dillon Amphitheater is a beautiful venue located just a short drive away, right on the shore of Lake Dillon. You get to see and hear some amazing music with Peak One and the Ten Mile Range in the backdrop. They offer various paid and free concerts – check here for upcoming shows during your next trip. Through August, we also have live music on the Ullr Plaza Friday – Sunday from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. But for more music in Breckenridge, visit to plan and prepare for your stay.

Each time our owners come to the property to stay, we hope they will notice something new or see a change to the resort. Each week we read and evaluate surveys, comment cards and read any online review. We listen to what you are sharing with us and want to put as much as we can into action. We have many things planned that are taking place this fall – I will not ruin the surprise but am happy to share a couple things that happened and changed just recently. We added turf to the Ice Rink, creating a new summer game area called the Sport Court. With a giant chessboard, cornhole games, connect four-game and ample seating, it is a new favorite spot for many. Also, near the Building One aquatics area, you can find a new outdoor ping pong table. We also added windows to the doors of Elev8 Lounge to create a more inviting entrance and experience for those insides.

We look forward to seeing you on the property again soon and enjoying yourselves in beautiful Summit County.
