Hello BGV owners,
It is an exciting time in the mountains as the seasons begin to change! While the slopes will remain open until in May for spring skiing adventures, Breckenridge is currently a blend of winter’s farewell and spring’s welcome. Warmer weather will soon be here to stay, and we eagerly look forward to another memorable summer with you.
This time of year also brings much to celebrate and share with you – read on to learn about some recent BGV recognition as well as exciting updates we are making to the annual Robert A. Millisor (RAM) Heart Health Walk.

Top Workplaces 2024
BGV has once again been recognized by USA Today as a national Top Workplace! We are the only mountain town employer and travel/vacation industry employer based in Colorado to achieve national Top Workplaces status.
Changes to the RAM Heart Health Walk
BGV has honored our late owner/developer, brother, and friend, Rob Millisor, through BGV Gives’ annual Heart Health event for almost a decade. We have provided more than $1.3M for heart health initiatives and programs within the Summit County community. From saving lives through newly installed AEDs to promoting nutrition and physical activity in low-income youth, the impact is tremendous, and we know Rob would be proud.
After almost ten years, we felt it was time to re-envision the way Rob’s legacy continues to shine brightly in our community. As a result, we are excited to share with you our new volunteer-based event to celebrate Rob’s compassionate humanity and commitment to community service: Rob A. Millisor (RAM) Legacy in Action.
Taking place on June 6, 2024, RAM Legacy in Action will partner with local nonprofits to raise funds for programs at the heart of our community and contribute more than 750 hours of volunteer time in one day. Volunteer activities include horse care, access to healthy food, trail work and more! After volunteering, all participants will gather at Carter Park in Breckenridge for a celebratory picnic where we’ll share stories of the volunteering experiences, listen to live music, enjoy delicious food, and strengthen community connections. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Please consider helping us reach our fundraising goal of $150,000 by donating to the Rob A. Millisor Heart Health Fund at The Summit Foundation.
- If you’d like to participate directly with this year’s volunteer projects, please consider providing an individual or business sponsorship.
We wish you and wonderful summer filled with warm, sunny days and hope to see you in Breckenridge soon!
With gratitude,
Mike and Mike
